Rules & Regulations

  1. KUCHING Virtual Run is a running event organized by Team RB Kuching and enables the registered runner to experience the feeling of competition and solidarity with the other participants while running on his/her own course, within a certain timeframe. However, we recommended all the runners to start from MBKS Kuching.
  2. Participants measure their run and submit results simply and easily. Measurements should be taken with a GPS-enabled smartphone or watch, and this data should be submitted via a result entry form.
  3. Virtual Run is a virtual running that aims at sportive and spiritual development based on the honest and fair statements of the participants. Applications are made online between 15 April 2021 to 1 September 2021 (4th run)
  4. The KVM 2021 is a series of virtual events where you can complete your run, any distances between (10km to 42.2km) anytime and anywhere between the following date & time in a one attempt (single-run):

    Round 1: 22nd May 2021 12:01am to 30th May 2021 11:59pm

    Round 2: 26th Jun 2021 12:01am to 4th July 2021 11:59pm

    Round 3: 31st Jul 2021 12:01am to 8th Aug 2021 11:59pm

    Round 4: 4th Sept 2021 12:01am to 12th Sept 2021 11:59pm

    Round 5: 23rd Oct 2021 12:01am to 31st Oct 2021 11:59pm

  5. Each participant should choose the one virtual running distance that to be completed in single attempt and will not strain his physical health and immune system. 
  6. Participants should read the rules & regulations, plan considering health and safety and run. Everyone participating in the races agrees to act within the framework of sportive ethics, gentlemen and fair play, and to make honest and accurate statements on issues related to running. The runner has to finish the course by running, use of any vehicle * is prohibited and the runner will be disqualified.
  7. Those who complete the courses can download and use the digital finishing medal from the website for the respective course. After submitting time and link of proof of result, a downloadable digital certificate will be sent to the runner’ email account.  please submit your result within one week after each round of running.
  8. Runners who report an inaccurate statement (result, time, GPS track of someone else’s running, etc.) will not be included in the classification, if already immediately removed. The runner who is removed from the classification is deemed to have not completed the race and cannot benefit from the rights such as finisher entitlement if any.
  9. People who have physical activity restrictions are recommended to consult their doctor. Participating not advised for people who are inconvenienced in the anaerobic effort, who need to be under constant supervision, have epilepsy, and have a fear of heights.

  11. The rights of the photographs, live broadcast recordings, and other images taken during the virtual run belong to the Team RB Kuching, no rights can be claimed.
  12. Right to send emails and short messages for informative purposes about the upcoming and Team RB Kuching; It accepts that it has the right to distribute the images and results taken throughout the organization over the web. No personal information will be shared with other running clubs.
